Hi Cuties!

Today is Halloween, which means that today is the last day of Halloween week here at Motel Chanel and from tomorrow on I'll start posting normal outfits again. I'm so sad that this is finishing! I Adore Halloween and costumes and now it's back to reality. Today is Halloween day and we can dress up as anything we want, so I'm dressing up as the red teletubbie with three of my friends. I think that this costume is the cutest thing ever and I'm In Love with it. Also, forgive the fact that I loo as yellow as a banana, the light wasn't great.

Hoy es Halloween, lo que significa que es el último día de la semana de Halloween aquí en Motel Chanel y a partir de mañana volveré a publicar outfits normales. Estoy muy triste de que se acabe! Yo Adoro Halloween y los disfraces y ahora es una vuelta a la realidad. Hoy es Halloween y en mi colegio nos podemos disfrazar de lo que queramos, así que yo me disfrazaré de el teletubbie rojo con tres de mis amigas. Creo que este disfraz es la cosita mas mono del mundo y estoy Enamoradísima de él. Perdonad el hecho de que mi cara se vea más amarilla que un plátano, la luz no era demasiado buena.

BARBIE COSTUME

Hi Cuties!

Today is the third day go Halloween week here at Motel Chanel, and I'm showing you a DIY Barbie costume! Today is Movies' Day at my school and every single grade has a movie assigned and everyone has to dress up as a character related to that movie. My grade got "Toy Story", and , as I didn't want to buy a lot of things, I decided to dress up as Barbie. To create this look I only bought the wig, the rest are clothing items that I took directly from my closet. I chose this beautiful Guess pink dress because Barbie has to have a pink dress. I chose this handbag because of the same reasons. I chose the heels because I didn't have pink heels, so I thought that she could wear floral heels. Lastly, I chose these sunglasses because they were maxi-sunglasses and had the detail in pink. Obviously I bought this blonde wig, because a brunette Barbie wouldn't look as good and as realistic.

Hoy es el tercer día de la semana de Halloween aquí, en Motel Chanel y hoy os muestro un DIY  (casero) disfraz de Barbie! Hoy es el día de las películas en my colegio y a cada curso, se le ha asignado una película y todos deben disfrazarse acorde con la película que les haya tocado. A mi curso, nos ha tocado "Toy Story"y como yo no quería comprar-me demasiadas cosas, decidí disfrazarme de Barbie. Para crear este look solo he comprado la peluca, el resto son prendas de ropa sacadas directamente de mi armario. Escogí este vestido de Guess en rosa pastel, ya que las palabras Barbie y rosa siempre van de la mano, y lo mismo me pasó con el bolso. Elegí estos zapatos de tacón ya que no tenía tacones rosas y pensé que una Barbie también podría llevar unos tacones florales. Por ultimo, elegí estas gafas de sol ya que son unas maxi-gafas y ya que tienen un detalle en rosa pastel que combina con el vestido. Obviamente, compré esta peluca rubia porque una Barbie morena no quedaría tan bien no tan realizar.

BALLERINA COSTUME

Hi Cuties!

Today is the second day of Halloween week here at Motel Chanel and I'm showing you a DIY ballerina costume! Honestly, it's not a real DIY, but kind of, since half of the pieces are regular clothes and the other half are ballet clothes... I'm going to go ahead and call this a DIY costume because I didn't buy anything to create this (I do ballet so I had all of this stuff in my closet.) Yesterday was sport's day at my school, so everyone dressed up with sportswear, and I, that wanted to send a clear statement regarding ballet being seen as a sport, I dressed up as a ballerina. Ballet is one of the hardest disciplines in the world (probably a lot of people disagree with me, but that people haven't tried ballet, for sure) and I consider dancers (ballet dancers and in general) athletes. So, definitely, in my opinion: "Ballet is a sport." Anyways, this costume is very cute and very easy to get together, you just need a leotard or or a very fitted top, a pastel pink ballet skirt, or regular short skirt, pink leg warmers, black tights, black shoes (it doesn't really matter the specifics of the shoes,) and the most important part: a high bun with a scrunchie holding it together.

Hoy es el segundo día de la semana de Halloween aquí en Motel Chanel y os muestro un disfraz DIY (casero) de bailarina! Honestamente, no es un disfraz DIY completamente, pero, ya que la mitad de la prendas son ropa normal y la otra mitad es ropa de ballet... Voy a ir a por ello y llamar a este disfraz un disfraz DIY ya que no he comprado nada de lo que veis en las fotografías para crear este especifico disfraz (Practico ballet, así que tenía todas estas prendas en mi armario.) Ayer fue el día de los deportes en my colegio, así que todo el mundo tenía que ir vestido en ropa de deporte, y como yo quería dar a conocer que considero el ballet es un deporte, me disfracé de bailarina. Ballet es una de las disciplinas mas duras en el mundo (probablemente muchos estarán en desacuerdo conmigo, pero estoy segura que esa gente jamás ha probado el ballet) y yo considero a los bailarines (ya sea de ballet como a los bailarines en general) unos atletas. Así que, definitivamente, en mi opinión: "Ballet es un deporte." Ay, que me voy por las ramas! Este disfraz es muy mono y muy fácil de coordinar y encontrar, solo necesitáis un mallot o un top ajustado, una falda de ballet de color rosa pastel o una falda rosa pastel corta normal, calentadores rosas, medias negras y zapatos negros (sin importar que tipo de zapatos,) y lo más importante: un moño alto con un coletero para aguantarlo.
