FLORAL DRESS WITH OPENINGS

Hi Cuties!

Today I'm showing you a very cute look for the summer. New York City is warmer than an oven at maximum temperature during the summer and this dress is perfect to not melt. As you can see I went to Times Square for this shoot to capture completely what a warm, sweaty, summer day in New York looks like. The shoes, which look like ballet shoes (But are NOT) give it a nude touch and balance out all the colors. As the dress has too many colors, it's better to have a nude tone for the shoes.

Hoy os muestro un look muy mono para el verano. En la Ciudad de Nueva York hace mas calor que la que desprende un horno a maxima temperatura, en verano y este vestido es perfecto para evitar derretirse. Como podéis ver, fui a Times Square para esta sesión de fotos para capturar completamente la esencia de un típico día de verano en Nueva York (toda la calor, las luces...) Los zapatos, que parecen unas zapatillas de ballet (Pero que no lo son) le dan un toque nude al look y balancean la abundancia del color. Como el vestido tiene muchos colores, es mejor llevar zapatos de color nude.

GLAMOUR EVENT AT CHELSEA MARKET

Hi Cuties!

Today I'm not just going to talk about a specific outfit. I'm going to talk an event that a friend and I attended last Sunday, September 7th. Because of the New York Fashion Week, GLAMOUR organized an fashion and beauty event at Chelsea Market. There you could get complimentary manicures, make-up, facial treatments, flash tattoos, and you could even get you hair styled. We entered the room in the Chelsea Market where the event was held and saw all this different boutiques and stands: "Hair Salon," "Folli Follie," etc. There was also a photographer who took some pictures of us. First, we went to the Photo Booth to take some pictures, and then we went to the "Folli Follie" stand, where we got a free flash tattoo and gift bags. Then, as the line for all the other stands was very long, we went to walk through Chelsea Market and took some pics. About the outfit that I chose: I chose a green dress because green is a very fresh color. I wore black shoes to combine them with the black detail on the dress. The accessories that I wore were green to combine them with the dress and make the outfit look more organized and well planned.

Hoy no voy a hablar de un outfit especifico sino que os voy a hablar de un evento al que una amiga y yo asistimos este pasado Domingo 7 de Septiembre. Como la New York Fashion Week es esta semana, GLAMOUR organizó un evento de moda y belleza en el Chelsea Market. Allí te hacían  manicuras, maquillaje, tratamientos faciales, calcomanías, peinados, etc, todo gratis. Entramos en la sala donde se hacia el evento y inmediatamente vimos un montón de estantes: "Peluquería" "Folli Follie"... etc. También había un fotógrafo que nos hizo varias fotografías. Primero fuimos al "Photocall" a hacernos fotos y luego fuimos al estante de "Folli Follie" donde nos hicimos unas calcomanías doradas y nos dieron unas bolsas-regalo. Luego, al ver que la cola para los demás estantes era muy larga, fuimos a dar una vuelta por el Chelsea Market y nos hicimos algunas fotografías. En cuanto al look que llevé: aposté por un color fresco, como es el verde y combiné los zapatos negros con el detalle negro del vestido. Los accesorios (colgante y pendientes) los elegí verdes para combinarlos con el vestido.
