SOUL CYCLE BLACK SWEATER AND HOME DECO

Hi Cuties!

Today I'm showing you a different post, a very casual outfit and a little bit of home deco, specifically on window seats! As you guys know, I'm a fan of comfy outfits, but I also love exercising, and to do so, I go to Soul Cycle. There you receive a 45 minute, kick-ass spinning session with wights and full body work-out. At the studios, they also sell apparel, and although it's mainly sports apparel, sometimes you can find a hidden gem, like this sweater than can help you express your love for Soul Cycle outside of the work-out room. Also I have been meaning to do a Home Deco post since I started the blog but I wanted to incorporate it to a regular post so here it is. This little corner is a window seat in my living room. I ADORE it, because as the walls are white, it gives a POP of color to the room. Sometimes I just sit here and listen to music or read books and magazines. It's a perfect space to have a certain privacy in a bigger space.

Hoy os muestro un post un poco diferente: un look muy casual y un poco de Home Deco (decoración del hogar), específicamente en asientos de ventanas! Como ya sabéis, soy una fan de los outfits cómodos, pero también adoro hacer ejercicio, y para hacerlo, voy a Soul Cycle. Allí, recibo una lección de spinning de 45, con pesas y con un entrenamiento del cuerpo completo. En los estudios, venden ropa, normalmente de deporte, pero a veces puedes encontrar alguna gema escondida como este jersey, que te puede ayudar a mostrar tu amor por Soul Cycle fuera del gimnasio. Además he querido hacer un post de decoración des de hace un tiempo, pero incorporando a un post normal, así que aquí lo tenéis. Este pequeño espacio es un asiento de ventana en mi sala de estar. Lo ADORO, ya que, como las paredes son todas blancas, le da un POP de color a la habitación. A veces me siento aquí y escucho música o leo libros o revistas, es un espacio perfecto para tener una cierta privacidad en un espacio más grande.

YOGA PANTS AND BEIGE UGGS

Today I'm showing you a look created to hang around your home! I love to be warm and cozy in my own apartment. Although I'm mostly in my pajamas when I'm home, when I have guests or people over, I want to wear something that feels like a pajama but it's not. Every single piece of this outfit is as comfy as a cloud. I chose this patterned, black yoga pants; this beige and sparkly sweater. To match with the color of the sweater I chose this beige Uggs, and also because you feel like walking on clouds. To give the look a cute touch to the outfit I wore this necklace, which was a gift from my aunt.

Hoy os muestro un look para ir por casa! Me encanta estar calentita y comoda en mi casa. Aunque casi siempre voy en pijama por casa, cuando tengo invitados quiero llevar algo que sea tan cómodo como un pijama, pero que no lo sea. Cada pieza de este look es super cómoda. He elegido estos pantalones de yoga negros; este beige y brillante jersey. Para combinar con el tono del jersey, he elegido estas Uggs altas en color beige, ademas porque cada vez que ando con ellas me siento andando sobre una nube. Para darle un toque mono al outfit, llevé este collar, que fue un regalo de mi tía.

ANGEL: BEYONCÉ SWEATSHIRT

Today I'm showing you a super casual and comfy look! I love this look for several reasons: 1) I LOVE black, it goes with everything; 2) It's super comfy and warm. Sometimes, when I take classes outside school ( I take like 100 different, musical theater related classes) I want to feel warm and comfortable because sometimes I have to go to voice, then acting (where I need to be able to move) and then dancing (where I change into dance clothes) in the same day and different places. This look is perfect for one of this long days because I can move in it (when I need it in acting or I'm late and have to run) and I can wear something underneath it (dance clothes). I wanted to have some accents in this look, and I created those by wearing the floral cap, and by the crossed-out "Angel" in pink of the sweatshirt. Those two details attract attention, transform a super simple, total-black look, into a cool, practical and "Flawless" one... Get it? FLAWLESS, as in the song by Beyoncé... Because the sweatshirt and cap are from Beyoncé's Store... Ok. I know I'm not funny...

Hoy os muestro un look muy casual y cómodo! Me encanta este look por diversas razones: 1) ME ENCANTA el color negro, queda bien con todo; 2) Es super cómodo y calentito. A veces, cuando voy a classes extra-escolares (Voy a 100 clases relacionadas con teatro musical) quiero sentirme calentita y cómoda, ya que, a veces tengo voz, teatro (donde tengo que poder moverme), y baile (donde me pongo ropa de baile) en el mismo día y en sitios distintos. Este look es perfecto para uno de esos largos días porque me puedo mover libremente (para cuando hago teatro o cuando llego tarde y tengo que correr) y puedo llevar mas ropa debajo (ropa de baile). Quería darle unos acentos al look, y los creé  llevando esta gorra con estampado floral y las letras tachadas de "Angel" en rosa en la sudadera. Esos dos detalles atraen atención y transforman un look total-negro y muy simple, en un look guau, practico y "Flawless"... Lo pilláis? FLAWLESS, como la canción de Beyoncé... Porque la sudadero y la gorra son de la tienda de Beyoncé... Ok. Sé que no soy divertida...

STANDARDIZED TEST LOOK

Today I'm showing you a perfect look to take standardized tests! I'm taking the ACT, SAT, SAT subject testa and TOEFL now and I thought it would be very useful to style a perfect look. First rule of clothing in standardized tests: Wear something extremely comfy. Second rule: Wear layers, because you never now how cold or how hot it's going to be and you can always take something off or put something on. And third rule: Feel pretty, because if you feel good with yourself that will affect your testing, bumping up your self-confidence and you will automatically do better. This look embodies those three fundamental rules, therefore, is perfect to take any type of testing.

Hoy os muestro un look perfecto para ir a hacer exámenes estandarizados! Yo estoy haciendo los ACT, SAT , SAT subject tests y TOEFL y he pensado que seria muy útil mostrar-os como hacer un look perfecto para los tests. Primera norma para la ropa que llevéis en los tests: Lleva ropa cómoda. Segunda norma: Lleva capas, ya que nunca sabes la temperatura que va a hacer en la habitación, y de esta forma puedes quitarte ropa si hace calor y ponerte ropa encima si hace frío. Tercera norma: Siéntete guapas, ya que si te sientes bien contigo misma tu confianza sube y vas a hacer-lo mejor. Este look sigue todas las normas, por lo tanto, es perfecto para los tests.

UNICORN ONESIE

Happy Halloween week! This week is Halloween week on the blog, which means that I will post a costume outfit every post day (Some of them will be DIY, some of them will be just bought...) This is the first Halloween post and I couldn't be happier. I ADORE Halloween, is my favorite celebration; the costumes, the make-up, the hair, the parties... I just LOVE it! Yesterday was Pajamas' Day at my school and everyone had to go to school in their pajamas, so I went in this adorable unicorn onesie. It's the most comfortable thing ever and it's extremely cute. The pastel colors on the onesie and the socks in contrast with the hot pink of the tail, head, and sleeve-ends make this outfit even cuter. I decided to go for this kind of make up because the lips were hot pink, as the details of the onesie and the tribal-like make-up goes really well with this look.

Feliz semana de Halloween! Esta semana es la semana de Halloween en el blog, lo que significa que voy a publicar un disfraz por outfit cada día de post (Algunos de ellos van a ser creados con simples prendas y algunos comprados...) Este es el primer post de Halloween y no podría estar más contenta. Yo ADORO Halloween, es my celebración favorita; los disfraces, el maquillaje, el pelo, las fiestas... Me ENCANTA! Ayer era el día de los pijamas en mi colegio y todos el mundo tenía que ir al colegio en pijama, así que yo fui en este adorable onesie (body) de unicornio. Es la cosa mas cómoda que he llevado y es extremadamente mono. Los colores pastel del onesie y los calcetines en contraste con el rosa fucsia de los detalles del onesie hacen que este outfit sea mucho mejor. Decidí llevar este maquillaje para las fotos porque el rosa de los labios combina con el rosa de el onesie y este maquillaje "tribal" quedaba muy bien con el look.

Hi Cuties!

Today I'm showing you an outfit for a rainy day! It's kind of sweater weather in New York City, so I chose this gray sweater/poncho, a pair of black jeans, my to-go black boots and a black handbag. For the accessories, I chose this set of simple rings, which are very very convenient and practical, and this ring with a huge black stone because it's beautiful. The necklace that I'm wearing is my new favorite (Besides the ones that I wear every single day.) I went to Chelsea Market a while ago and I designed this necklace at Brooklyn Charms. For the people who don't know how Brooklyn Charms works, you just chose the charms the chain and they make it for you. Also, I really like that the purple touch of the necklace combines with the umbrella.

Hoy os muestro un look para un día de lluvia! Es tiempo de jerseys en Nueva York, así que he elegido este jersey/poncho gris, un par de tejanos negros, mis botas negras y un bolso negro. He elegido este set de anillos sencillos ya que son muy convenientes y prácticos, y este anillo con una piedra negra, porque es precioso. El colgante que llevo es mi nuevo favorito (Sin contar los que llevo cada día.) Hace un tiempo, fui a Chelsea Market y diseñé este colgante en la tienda Brooklyn Charms. Para todos los que no saben como funciona Brooklyn Charms, esa una tienda donde escoges la cadena para un colgante o pulsera y luego escoges los charms o piezas y ellos hacen tu diseño. Además, me encanta que la parte morada, lila y violeta del colgante combina con el paraguas.
